Polymer Prices Rise in February Settlements

The beat goes on in European polymer markets with polypropylene taking the lead this week. February contract settlements were said to have added €50/m.t. while spot export material soared $200/m.t. traders say. Polyethylene and polystyrene contracts were essentially left to roll as buyers and sellers contended over the €100/m.t. increases on the table for March. Spot PE and PS rose about $100/m.t.
