Polymer Prices Rise in China

PP prices firmed on higher propylene feedstock rates and bullish global energy prices. In China, local prices of PP injection and PP raffia were at the Yuan 12450/mt ex works levels. Prices of PVC were assessed flat. CFR China and CFR South East Asia prices were assessed at the USD 1145/mt levels. There is buyer resistance has been widespread in Asia at the higher price levels.
