Polymer Prices Firm in China

In China PP firmed. Prices journeyed north on the back of reports of limited availability on the one hand coupled with bullish upstream costs on the other. CFR Far East Asia prices of PP injection and PP raffia were assessed at the USD 1530/mt levels while PP film prices were assessed at the USD 1550/mt levels. Block copolymer prices of PP were assessed up at the USD 1555/mt levels.   The buying pulse has weakened ahead of the approaching lunar holidays.
