Polymer Contracts Roll Over, Again

Polymer markets continued rolling over for the first half of May as they had done in late April, players say. North American export prices continued to drop from early-spring highs, while European numbers continued moving higher. Polypropylene (PP) prices were the leading decreases in the U.S., dropping $120-$150/m.t. The various grades of polyethylene (PE) declined by about half that much.
