![]() February polymer contracts settled5:36 PM MDT | March 11, 2013 | Lindsay Frost Players say there were scattered declines for February contract settlements, but nothing major. In North America, low-density polyethylene (LDPE) was down by 2 cts/lb, and polypropylene (PP) was reported to be lower by 6 cts/lb. In Europe the largest decrease was homopolymer PP, concluded lower by €100/m.t. Polystyrene saw contract decreases of €30-40/m.t. Styron announced an increase of €60/m.t., which became effective 5 March. No word yet from buyers if they will comply. The sole gainer for the period was polyvinyl chloride, agreed higher by...
