Even though sellers attempted to keep their prices of PP firm by citing a steep climb in propylene feedstock costs, buyers in markets like China, remained reluctant to purchase. Several buyers of PP polled said that they were sitting on sufficient stock to see them through until mid April, hence they were not in any rush to purchase at current price levels.
