Raffia and injection prices were assessed up at the USD 1185/mt CFR Far East Asia levels while PP film prices were assessed up at the USD 1205/mt CFR Far East Asia levels. A need to replenish low inventories coupled with a rally in upstream propylene rates were seen as the prime triggers to ignite buying sentiments in PP, with the outage at Taiwan's Formosa also seen as responsible for the rise in PP rates.
