Polymer markets steady

Polymer markets were reported quiet through the second half of May, with attention turning to contract settlements in monomer markets. Low-density polyethylene (LDPE) for export rose $120/m.t. in North America and $100/m.t. in Europe traders report. High-density PE (HDPE) blow-molding grade slipped $40/m.t. in North America and $100/m.t. in Europe.
