Polymer prices rise across the board

Polymer prices were higher almost across the board through the end of August and into September, sources say. August polyolefins in North America were agreed higher by 1-3 cts/lb, but spot and export markets were more mixed. Low-density and linear low-density polyethylene (LDPE; LLDPE) were said to be flat, while high density PE and polyproplyene (PP) were higher by $100-180.
