Uptick for U.S. Olefins Prices

Prices for North American feedstocks rose on the heels of higher crude oil. Spot naphtha was up to $2.44-$2.48/gal in a widening trading range, while propane remained stable at $1.26/gal. Butane eased by 2 cts/gal, to $1.92/gal. Ethane, meanwhile, also posted slight declines week-on-week. About 5 cts/gal was lost, bringing ethane to about 50 cts/gal. Spot olefins were on the upswing.
