U.S. Feedstocks and Olefins Mixed Mid-Month, Players Say

Unrest in the Mideast and Japan's mega-earthquake did not have much effect on North American feedstock or olefins prices. Among feedstocks, ethane rose about 2 cts/gal and propane gained about a penny. Butane was stable, while naphtha added a dime, players say. Meanwhile, spot olefins were mixed.
