![]() U.S. Feedstock Prices Lower; Olefins Mixed11:47 AM MDT | May 17, 2011 | Lindsey Bewley North American feedstock prices were much lower on the back of falling crude oil prices. Ethane fell about 10 cts/gal, butane was lower by 12 cts/gal, propane fell about 7 cts/gal, and naphtha lost about 20 cts/gal. On the olefins side, spot ethylene was up about 4 cts/lb, to 72 cts/lb. Propylene spot prices were stable, but are expected to fall on lower demand from derivatives producers, sources say.
