![]() U.S. Ethylene Contracts Settle for February9:12 AM MST | March 7, 2011 | Lindsey Bewley U.S. ethylene contracts for the month of February have settled at a gain of 3.75 cts/lb, to 49 cts/lb. The February contract price represents an 8% premium over January contract prices, mostly due to stronger spot prices. Spot ethylene has been volatile since the mid-February fire at Enterprise's Mt. Belvieu storage facility, sources say. Spot prices have slowly climbed since the beginning of March, and are now pegged at about 52.5 cts- 53.5 cts/lb, market players...
