Spot olefin prices higher

Spot olefins turned higher slightly in Europe this week, but spot aromatics were mixed, traders say. Crude oil was higher by a few dollars a barrel, and spot naphtha was reported higher by $10/m.t. That figure was enough upstream support for European cracker operators to make a push to turn spot olefins from their long slide. Spot ethylene was higher by €10/m.t. ($14) and spot propylene by €20/m.t., but buyers say the fundamentals remain...
