There is tightness in the supply of the product. This firmness is now expected to last for a few weeks. Propylene prices were dragged lower to USD 1190- 1200 from USD 1220 - 1230 on FOB Korea basis. Market sentiments have been sluggish due to low demand in the end user segment which is pushing the price levels down. Butadiene has moved swiftly in the northward direction in the last two weeks.
