Olefins Prices on the Rise

A strong move higher by all primary hydrocarbons did not have an immediate knock-on effect in petrochemical markets this week, players say. Both West Texas Intermediate and Brent crude gained about $3.50/bbl or about 4.3%. Spot natural gas on the Henry Hub rose 25 cts/million Btu, or 6.4%. U.S. feedstocks were mostly up.
