![]() Olefins Prices on the Decline9:21 AM MDT | May 14, 2012 | Lindsey Bewley North American feedstocks prices were mixed. Ethane rose about 4 cts/gal, while butane was lower by 9 cts/gal. Propane ticked lower by 2 cts/gal. Among spot olefins, ethylene fell 8 cts/lb, while both grades of propylene slipped 7 cts/lb. Butadiene was lower by about 9 cts/lb. Declines moderated in European olefins. Spot ethylene was reported lower by €30/m.t. but the retreat was expected to continue. Propylene was said to be off by €20/m.t.
