![]() Olefins Prices in U.S. Ease1:57 PM MST | February 23, 2011 | Lindsey Bewley Rising crude oil prices pushed North American feedstocks higher this week. Butane was up about 6 cts/gal and propane added about 4 cts/gal, while naphtha was higher by about 8 cts/gal. Ethane, however, fell from recent highs to about 65 cts/gal, a loss of about 5 cts/gal. Among olefins, spot ethylene fell by 3 cts/lb, to 50 cts/lb, while both grades of spot propylene were heard to have eased back by about 8 cts/lb.
