![]() Olefins Prices in Europe Rising1:17 PM MDT | May 4, 2011 | Lindsey Bewley European butadiene contracts which were agreed to higher by €360/m.t. caused buyers’ heads to spin this week. Keeping pace, spot butadiene was reported notionally higher by $$480/m.t. but no business could be confirmed at that price. Other olefins gains were considerably more modest. May ethylene was concluded higher by €25/m.t. while propylene for the month was agreed at an increase of €35/m.t. Spot C2 bumped up by €60/m.t. while spot C3 rose...
