Olefins Prices in Europe Rising

European butadiene contracts which were agreed to higher by €360/m.t. caused buyers’ heads to spin this week. Keeping pace, spot butadiene was reported notionally higher by $$480/m.t. but no business could be confirmed at that price. Other olefins gains were considerably more modest.
