![]() Olefins Prices Fall in North America, Rise in Europe2:27 PM MST | December 8, 2011 | Lindsey Bewley Feedstock prices in North America were up across the board. Butane rose about 5 cts/gal, propane lost about 2 cts/gal, and ethane was higher about 6 cts/lb. Ethylene contracts for the month of November settled at a gain of 1 ct/lb, to 55 cts/lb. Spot material, meanwhile, is steady at about 51 cts/lb. North American butadiene contracts have settled for the month of December in a split settlement, just as the market had evened contract prices out among producers.
