Olefin contracts settle higher

December olefin contract settlements were mostly higher but spot market business was reported to be mixed. Spot naphtha in northwest Europe gained $20/m.t. but the bigger news was the €30/m.t. increase in the December ethylene contract. Propylene was agreed higher by a token €10/m.t.
