![]() North American Olefins and Feedstocks Mixed8:11 AM MDT | June 2, 2011 | Lindsey Bewley Olefins and feedstocks were mostly mixed in North America early this week in post-holiday trading. Ethane lost about 1 penny, while both butane and naphtha edged higher by 1 ct/gal. Propane, however, was the big winner, gaining about 6 cts/gal. On the spot olefins side, ethylene was down about 3 cts/lb, while butadiene eased off recent highs, falling about 5 cts/lb, to $1.80-$1.90/lb. May butadiene contracts have yet to settle, but have been nominated at gains of 9cts/lb all the way up to an eye-popping 20 cts/lb. The nominations place May contracts in the range...
