North American Olefins and Feedstocks Mixed

Olefins and feedstocks were mostly mixed in North America early this week in post-holiday trading. Ethane lost about 1 penny, while both butane and naphtha edged higher by 1 ct/gal. Propane, however, was the big winner, gaining about 6 cts/gal. On the spot olefins side, ethylene was down about 3 cts/lb, while butadiene eased off recent highs, falling about 5 cts/lb, to $1.80-$1.90/lb.
