Mixed settlements for olefins contracts

Olefins contract settlements were mixed for June on both sides of the Atlantic this week. Spot naphtha in northwest Europe rose for a second straight week, this time by $20/m.t., and June contracts for ethylene and propylene were higher too, if only by token amounts. Ethylene was said to be done €5/m.t. higher while propylene was agreed up by €15/m.t. Butadiene was the loser of the group—settled down €90/m.t.
