European Olefins Pricing Inches Higher

Spot naphtha prices in northwest Europe ticked lower by $10/m.t. which improved margins for steam-cracker operators as olefins spot prices were reported continuing to rise. Ethylene added €50/m.t., sellers say, while propylene kept pace with a gain of €40/m.t. Butadiene notched an increase of $20/m.t.
