Chemicals Prices Move Lower in Asia

Ethylene moved down to USD 1120-1130 from USD 1190-1200. It is expected that the price will further move downward as there is ample availability in the market and the derivative requirement for the PE derivatives is quite low. Butadiene surged from USD 3690- 3700 to USD 3840-3850. As more and more ethane is brought into production, the availability of propylene and butadiene has been going down, tightening the markets amid high demand.
