Asia Ethylene Remains Level

Ethylene  price levels remained at USD 810-820 as of last week. Prices are expected to move down due to ample supply. Interestingly, even the Formosa refinery incident did not have an impact on Asia prices, as supply levels are forecast to remain high through the end of August. Furthermore, demand for derivatives has been sluggish, with buyers adopting a wait-and-watch policy. Only the small quantities required to keep plants running are being bought.  ...
