Asia Chemicals Prices Mixed on Sluggish Demand

Naphtha fell to USD 1085.0-1087.0 on CFR Far East basis. It is expected that the prices will fall further in coming weeks on lower crude oil prices.    Ethylene price levels in Asia inched down a bit this week, due to low market activity. Prices moved down to USD 1330-1340 on FOB Korea basis. The markets for the downstream sectors are sluggish and this is affecting feedstock markets as well.   Propylene price levels moved higher this week to USD 1570-1580 as compared to USD 1540-1550 on FOB Korea basis.
