Asia Chemical Prices Trend Downward

Naphtha moved up from USD 957.0-957.0 to USD 970.0- 972.0 on fluctuating crude prices. It is expected that prices will move northward and should be close to USD 980.0 - 990.0 in the coming weeks. Ethylene softened from USD 1250-1260 to USD 1190-1200 on higher crude oil prices. Shale gas has been the main topic of discussion at APIC 2011 in Fukuoka , Japan.
