Olefins contracts settled for November

In early settlements, November olefins contracts were agreed in Europe. Spot naphtha rose $20/m.t., but that upstream firming did not help steam-cracker operators much with ethylene and propylene both settled lower by €30/m.t. Butadiene was agreed higher by €75/m.t., but sellers also saw spot prices plunge $200/m.t. Spot ethylene was off by €40/m.t. and spot propylene lower by €30/m.t., market watchers...
