Spot olefins rise in Europe

Olefins spot prices in northwest Europe continued to rise this week, if only propelled by rising feedstock prices. Spot naphtha rose $45/m.t., traders say, which was enough to nudge ethylene and propylene higher by €10/m.t. Butadiene contracts were settled at 76 cts/lb in the US, with spot edging up to 80-81...
