The monthly contract price was settled down by 10 cts/lb, players say, while spot business was done lower by 14 cts/lb. In sharp contrast, European isomer contracts were also settled, but only with token changes—o-xylene was agreed higher by €15/m.t. ($19) while para-xylene was done down €10/m.t., market watchers report. European ethylene glycol participants settled a 2-month deal for February and March for a token...
