Intermediates markets slow at November start

There was not much action to report among intermediates markets for the end of October and into November. European ortho-xylene was reported settled lower by €20 ($25)/m.t. for the month, but spot business was said to be higher by $70/m.t. in Europe and by 2 cts/lb in North America.
