US ortho-xylene tacked on a 2-cts/lb increase for October, but contracts for both isomers rolled from September into October in European settlements. Spot para-xylene was reported lower by $60/m.t. in North America and $70/m.t. in Europe. Other intermediates showed more strength in contract talks.
