Intermediates contracts still being settled, spot prices mostly flat

Just a few settlements were reported among intermediates markets. The late-month agreement for North American para-xylene (p-xylene) was concluded at an increase of 2 cts/lb, which had a knock-on effect of firming spot pX by $20/m.t. North American ethylene glycol was agreed at a roll for October, sources say. In Europe, ortho-xylene was settled for October with a slight decrease of €10/m.t...
