The contestants came to terms on three of four transactions, with the usual laggard, U.S. para-xylene, the only deal left undone at press time. U.S. ortho-xylene was agreed lower by 4 cts/lb, while in Europe pX was concluded at a decrease of €20/m.t. European para-xylene was settled lower by €35/m.t.
