Final December intermediates contracts settled

The last of the December 2013 contract settlements have been confirmed, as has the first settlement for January 2014, for intermediates. The January ethylene glycol contract was agreed higher by 4 cts/lb in North America, while the December contract was finally agreed in Europe higher by €15/m.t. ($21) after much discussion. Spot ethylene glycol was reported higher by 3 cts/lb in North America and $50/m.t. in Europe.
