Fiber Intermediates Moving Upward

Attention in fiber intermediates was focused on contract talks, market watchers say. The chronically late U.S. para-xylene contract was agreed for March at an increase of 2.75 cts/lb, but players say the number was not universally accepted. European traders had moved on to April, where pX was agreed lower by €20/.t. while ortho-xylene was settled higher by €30/m.t. Ethylene glycol for April in Europe was said to be agreed lower...
