Final intermediates contract prices settled

The last of the March settlements in intermediates were agreed on by late in the month, market watchers report. Notably, US para-xylene (p-xylene) was agreed lower by 4 cts/lb. The same range of decrease is anticipated for both p-xylene and ortho-xylene (o-xylene) in April, sources say. In European isomers, April deals were already done, with p-xylene concluded lower by €130/m.t. ($170) and o-xylene agreed down by just €20/m.t. March ethylene glycol contracts in North America were settled lower by 3 cts/lb, while spot antifreeze grade slipped 2...
