Intermediates Prices Slow in Second Half of September

After an active start to September, intermediates followed the lead of primary petrochemicals into a quiet second half of the month. Acrylonitrile saw modest multi-month gains accumulate into higher spot- and contract-prices. North American prompt material was reported higher by $50/m.t., while European spot was said to be higher by $150/m.t.
