Isomer xylene contract settlements in Europe led the way, with para-xylene being agreed for February at an increase of €102/m.t. Ortho-xylene kept pace with a settlement higher by €100/m.t. In the U.S. oX was concluded for February higher by 7 cts/lb. A similar increase is on the table for pX, but talks are not yet concluded, players say.
