Intermediates Contracts Settle Lower

The last of the December contracts for isomer xylenes fell into place this week, with ortho-xylene for Europe settled at a decrease of €20/m.t., players say. In line with that decline, spot prices plunged $140/m.t. in Europe and 5 cts/lb in North America. Acrylonitrile also was concluded for December, with the European contract agreed down by €100/m.t. and the U.S. contract settled lower by 10 cts/lb, traders report...
