Bellwether benzene on the U.S. Gulf Coast rose a robust 15 cts/gal, while benzene in northwest Europe gained $30/m.t. Spot toluene on the Gulf Coast declined a modest 5 cts/lb and stumbled $20/m.t. in Europe.
