Varied aromatics prices reported

Benchmark benzene on the US Gulf shed 5 cts/gal in the June contract while styrene was settled flat. Spot benzene was lower by 10 cts/gal, players say, while spot toluene was reported lower by 20 cts/gal. Spot benzene, however, gained 4 cts/lb, traders say. In Europe, the June benzene contract was agreed at a decrease of €11/m.t. while June styrene was concluded higher by €14/m.t. Spot business was said to be flat, with only toluene slipping lower by $10/m.t. Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) gained $20/m.t. as the summer driving season geared...
