Spot benzene on the U.S. Gulf Coast moved strongly higher by 25 cts/gal, while spot toluene and mixed xylenes followed with gains of 15 cts/gal, traders say. In Europe trading was reported to be more uneven, with benzene gaining $15/m.t. and toluene sprinting out to a $20/m.t. rise, but mixed xylenes easing lower by $10/m.t.
