Spot aromatics prices mixed

Spot aromatics were said to be mixed in advance of April contract settlements. With the Easter and Passover holidays falling at the end of March this year, there was a sentiment of "hurry or wait" for settlements, players say. Spot benzene on the US Gulf reversed several weeks of declines with a modest increase of 10 cts/gal, but mixed xylenes continued to slip, down 15 cts/gal.
