![]() Declines reported in aromatics1:39 PM MDT | March 18, 2013 | Lindsay Frost Aromatics declines accelerated from the previous week, with benzene down 15 cts/gal on the US Gulf Coast. Toluene and mixed xylenes were down more sharply, with traders reporting widening trading bands. Toluene bids were lower 35 cts/gal against offers down 25 cts/gal, and mixed xylenes bids were down 25 cts/gal against offers down 15 cts/gal. In Europe, spot benzene plunged $75/m.t., buyers say, with mixed close behind with a loss of $60/m.t. European spot styrene was the lone gainer, with a token increase of $10/m.t.
