![]() Aromatics strong in Europe8:30 AM MST | November 27, 2012 | Lindsay Frost Aromatics were reported strong in Europe and choppy, but mostly higher on the US Gulf Coast. Spot benzene saw buyers move bids higher by 10 cts/gal, but in thin pre-holiday trading, sellers were not observed to raise their offers. There was more activity in mixed xylenes, where bids were also higher by 10 cts/gal, but sellers doubled up on offers by 20 cts/gal. Toluene was said to be mostly on the sidelines, with a token increase of 5 cts/gal. In Europe, however, benzene was said to be higher by $35/m.t.
