Aromatics spot prices mostly lower

The benzene price on the US Gulf was reported done higher by 38 cts/gal, while spot business moved higher by just a nickel. The rest of the aromatics were lower in spot trading, players report, with toluene off 20 cts/gal, mixed xylenes tumbling 30 cts/gal, and styrene easing lower by 2 cts/lb off last week’s supply outage concerns.
