Aromatics spot prices mixed

Aromatics contracts were not known to be settled by press time this week. Spot benzene on the US Gulf was reported lower by 10 cts/gal, while spot toluene was said to be higher by the same amount. Mixed xylene had an even better week, rising 20 cts/gal. Spot styrene was indicated to have risen 4 cts/lb, while late-month January contracts were reported higher by the same amount.
