Aromatics prices varied

In contrast to olefins, aromatics markets were quiet on both sides of the Atlantic. The only meaningful change in US Gulf Coast markets was an increase of 10 cts/gal for mixed xylenes. Styrene is said to have slipped a penny. In Europe, styrene was the only mover—gaining $15/m.t. and increasing its differential to benzene. Methyl tert-butyl ether is reported off...
